The purpose of this PSI-CAEN Digital Pulse Processing Workshop is to present the basic principle of operation of a waveform digitalizer with DPP capabilities and how it can be used for physics applications. We will also use the opportunity to introduce the new CAEN V1742 board which will include the PSI DRS4 chip developed by Dr. Stefan Ritt (Muon Physics Group of Particle Physics) who will join our team in presenting the DRS4 chip's specificities and merits during the V1742 overview.

La Universidad Friedich Alexander Erlangen-Nuernberg, Uni Erlangen, ha desarrollado un sistema de adquisición de datos e irradiación basado en un bus VME, que utiliza protones para detectar el mecanismo de reparación de ADN, que contribuirá a la lucha contra el cáncer.
